Joseph A. Vanore, Jr. joined Everingham & Kerr in 2001. He began his career on Wall Street with Salomon Smith Barney where he participated in IPOs, M&A and private placements for various Financial Institution, Internet, and Electronic Commerce clients. Prior to joining E&K, Mr. Vanore worked for a major regional investment bank / private equity group where he provided a broad range of services in several areas. He has Global experience working with both National and International clients. Mr. Vanore graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. Mr. Vanore is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), an accreditation issued by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) for performing business valuations. Mr. Vanore is also a Chartered Merger and Acquisition Professional (CMAP), an elite credential issued by the Middle Market Investment Banking Association (MMIBA). To achieve the AVA and CMAP designations, individuals must pre-qualify based on experience, submit documentation for board review and then take extensive educational courses, pass the required exams and case studies and continue ongoing education within the industry. Mr. Vanore is an active member of various professional networking organizations and associations.
