Walter J. Szymanski (wjs@everkerr.com) joined Everingham & Kerr in February 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Szymanski worked for a Regional Investment Banking Firm where he was responsible for developing leads and maintaining client relationships, as well as contributing to the due diligence process for key assignments.

Before entering the financial industry, he spent 20 years at his family's architectural woodworking company in various roles. As CEO of the company, which was started by his grandfather in 1925, he was responsible for the company's P&L, oversaw all operational and financial aspects , including cost cutting measures, capital improvements and the purchase of a new, larger facility in 2003. Mr. Szymanski was also accountable for all sales, estimating and contract negotiations for the company. With over 50% of the company's revenue coming from repeat clients, including some relationships spanning over 30 years, Mr. Szymanski has a strong background in customer relationship management. His years of dealing with Unions, regulatory, environmental, payroll and insurance issues has given him a keen insight into the inner-workings today's business owner face on a daily basis. The Company was sold in 2008 and Mr. Szymanski was an integral part in all facets of the sales process.
