Richard J. Ward, Jr.
Richard J. Ward, Jr. (rjw@everkerr.com) joined Everingham & Kerr in 2002. He is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) as well as a Merger and Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI), a level of certification attained by approximately 80 individuals worldwide. He has been President/CEO of four companies, both in the private and public sectors. The revenues of these firms have ranged from $20 million to over $400 million. Most of the businesses were international in scope and his career involved transactions and relationships throughout the world. In his position of leading these firms, he was involved in many acquisitions and divestitures. He has substantial experience in all phases of the manufacturing arena including marketing, operations, quality, safety and profit/loss responsibility. In particular, he has extensive background in the Chemicals and Plastics Industries. Prior to joining Everingham and Kerr, he had his own Mergers and Acquisition and Management Consulting businesses. Mr. Ward formerly served as the President of the Pennsylvania Business Brokers Association (PPBA). He is also currently involved in many philanthropic organizations, the Association for Corporate Growth, and several networking/leadership groups. He graduated from Penn State University and the Executive Management Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. | |
