Robert Everingham (re@everkerr.com) is the founder of Everingham & Kerr, Inc. His experience spans over thirty-five years and has included all aspects of the merger and acquisition process. He is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), and has been awarded the coveted Merger and Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI) designation.  An M&AMI applicant must submit documentation to review committee for verification of specific requirements regarding education, deal-making experience, transaction values, industry affiliations, and other criteria. Mr. Everingham's belief in professional education has led him to special training in financial management and analysis, business valuation techniques, negotiation protocols and other relevant subjects related to the sale, purchase and mergers of closely held businesses. His specialized knowledge of the M&A process has resulted in successful transactions of many different businesses within the categories of manufacturing, distribution, service and retail. Prior to his direct involvement in the merger and acquisition business, Mr. Everingham had a 13-year career as a general manager of a mid-size law firm. In this capacity he was responsible for all accounting, administrative and marketing functions. He is a member of the M&A Source (a professional association that provides continuing education and industry networking to M&A intermediaries) and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA).  He is a licensed real estate broker and has held his Series 6 Securities registration.  Mr. Everingham also serves on the advisory board of the CARES Institute.
