Fred G. Choate
Fred G. Choate (fchoate@aol.com) is a financing specialist who has been a manager and a principal of a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) in the Philadelphia area since 1992. From 1987 to 1992 he was with a Philadelphia based venture capital fund focusing on equity investmentsin small and medium sized businesses. From 1981 until 1987 he served as Vice President of Investments for a Canadian merchant bank which managed a portfolio of assets for a group of insurance companies and pension funds.Mr. Choate held several positions with Bank of America in both the US and Canada from 1972 until 1981. Currently he serves on the Board of Escalon Medical Corporation and Berean Federal Savings Bank. He graduated from the Citadel and earned a JD degree from the University of North Carolina. | |
